Rental Information

• Must be at least 25 years of age to rent, 21 to drive
• Have a Valid U.S. Driver’s License for each driver
• Proof of current Auto Insurance
  Providing your insurance coverage DOES NOT Guarantee insurance coverage.  It is the renter’s sole responsibility to ensure property damage and liability coverage with the renter’s auto insurance company PRIOR to signing the rental agreement. It is NOT the responsibility of TropiCart Rentals to ensure that the Renter’s auto insurance covers the rental use of Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs).  Renter is responsible for ALL liability and damages that may occur while a cart is in their possession and are operating a TropiCart Rentals street legal golf cart, also known as a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) as defined under the Florida Statute Chapter 320.01Cart Rules and Care: 
• Obey all traffic laws
• Wear seatbelts at ALL times
  All Children 5 years of age or younger must be properly restrained no matter where they are sitting in the vehicle.  Children through age 3 must be secured in a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer’s integrated child safety seat.  For Children aged 4 or 5 years, a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer’s integrated child safety seat, or a safety belt may be used. (FS316.613) The Fine is $60 and 3 points.
• Park the cart in proper/legal parking spaces
• Drive only on paved roads of 35mph or less
• NO driving on the Beach
• NO driving on the sidewalk
• NO off-road or reckless driving
  Damages to Cart/Cart undercarriage will result in additional charges
• NO driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• NO underage driver at any time or anywhere
• DO NOT store, place, or strap down anything on the cart roof
  Damage to the roof will result in additional charges
• Store safely and securely—always take the key with you
• Keep plugged in when not in use
• Report IMMEDIATELY any damages caused by the renter
• Return the cart FULLY charged and cleaned out

• Return cart in the same condition as when rented 

• YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CITATIONS
